Kookdo Kim

Kookdo Kim is a certified designer with an Ontario Building Code identification number and a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with honours from Yorkville University in Canada. He has over ten years of experience in the Residential and Hospitality interior design industry and is currently a faculty member of Sheridan College’s Art & Design program.

Kookdo believes that true luxury in interior design is about tailoring a space to fit your lifestyle, rather than the cost of the items you purchase. He is both a designer and a project manager, with a thorough understanding of the construction process and excellent communication skills throughout the design and construction process. You may even catch him on the job site with tools in hand!

LEAD Designer

Junghee Kim holds a Master’s degree in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in the US. She has experience working in both residential and commercial Interior Design firms in the Greater Toronto Area and is also a professor at Sheridan College. Junghee is a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). As a lead designer at STUDIOKIMI, she manages the design process, including programming (client profiling, research, and site visits), schematic design (ideation and concept development), and design development (preliminary to final design).

Junghee believes that the design of a building and interior space can reflect the people who occupy it, and that these spaces can impact their well-being by accommodating their functional and aesthetic needs. She strives to fully understand her clients’ lifestyles and requirements in order to create interior spaces that enhance their interactions with the surrounding environment
