In 2022, our team at Studiokimi Interior Design & Build completed a design & build project in Erin Mills, Mississauga. This kitchen and living room renovation, tailored to the needs of young professionals, had a cost of between $70,000 and $100,000. Our clients spend a significant amount of time in the kitchen and our focus was to design a space that was both functional and beautiful.
Budgeting and planning were key to the success of this project and we worked with our clients to source high-quality materials that fit within their budget. The pandemic presented challenges such as material and labor shortages and supply chain issues, but we were able to overcome these challenges by carefully sourcing stocked and local materials and wisely scheduling construction trades.
The renovation included a kitchen with a simple yet elegant design, featuring a natural color palette and a wood-textured island as an accent. We also assisted with the selection of materials, colors, furniture, and lighting, and the installation of motorized window coverings. Every detail of this renovation has been carefully planned and expertly executed, resulting in a space that our clients will enjoy for years to come.
